Meet the teacher
Welcome to my website! My name is Irene Roufanis. I am relatively new to Arizona. I moved here last year from New York. I was born and raised on Long Island, NY. I attended Hofstra University where I recieved my Bachelor's Degree is Elementary Education and Psychology. I then continued to get two Master's Degrees in Special Education and Literacy. I began my teaching carreer teaching Kindergarten. I then moved onto first grade and finally settled in on the big kids in fifth grade. Last year was my first year teaching fifth grade at Stetson Hills. It was a great success. I look forward to another fabulous, full of learning, fun year!
